let’s have a pity party!
Chris Smith Says:September 4th, 2008 at 7:44 pm
Clearly, Hudson didn’t even bother to watch it. He came off as dignified and strong and he dismissed attacks and name calling. The press tried to bait him into commenting about Palin and he responded with, “I’m running against John McCain”. Spot on.

This response gives me confidence that they fully understand how to run against the right wing. Obama looked very confident here. No smarmy one liners delivered with smirk.
Byron Says:September 4th, 2008 at 9:50 pm
Hudson has been completely losing it for some time now, and it’s only getting worse. Self-pitying and unreasonable - not a good way to go through life, son.

Hudson is quick to point out how Dems are scared.
Dems are confident. The country isn’t blaming Dems for the economic misery that has been created due to Republican incompetence over the last 8 years.
Want evidence the Repubs are scared?
Just look at the extremely exaggerated selling of a clearly unqualified and relatively uneducated neophyte.
Everybody knows it, including McCain.
Keep pushin’ Sarah Baracuda!
She appeals to the Republican base! Unfortunately for McCain (and Peggy Noonan would agree) the Republican base no longer represents the average American—and thank the good Lord Jeeeeeezuz!
Jeff Says:September 5th, 2008 at 12:39 am
You wanna be scared?
Watch this video and then imagine a bumbling McCain trying to respond to the incisive remarks Obama can dispense in an instant.
Truth be told, Joe Biden’s dismantling of Baracuda will be a pleasure to watch. When he said “This debate is gonna be really tough” on the Today show today, you get the feeling the Baracuda is going to be filleted, breaded and sent back to Alaska to be found guilty of ethics violations in her frozen kingdom.
A fitiing end to this gimmicky McCain/Palin fad.

Listen to the first couple minutes.
Even Trak had a nanny, apparently!
And he has a Jesus fish tattoo on his calf!
I knew these were friggin’ bible thumpers.
She’s even more like GWB than I had suspected.

What’s funny about the whole BP blog is many of the commentators seem to think that the rest of the US wants or needs the type of government that exists in WNY. As if what you have created is some type of good example that the rest of the country should follow. It is no secret which party has ruled and ruined NYS for years and years, real change means change, not more of what has FAILed before.

Wanna know about scary? Keep the black helicopter Freeper wingnuttery off my site. K? THX? BAI.

Opinions make the world go round BP; I don’t think your site was a wing-nut virgin before I “popped” in today anyhow.

oprah winfrey has banned gov. sarah palin, republican vice presidential candidate, from appearing on her show. one wonders what she is afraid of, and how long it will take the fcc to look into this egregious misuse of the public airwaves.
Celtic Tide Says:September 5th, 2008 at 5:18 pm
As much as I would like to agree with you mike, there is plenty of other time slots on the “airwaves” that Palin could appear in. As far as I’m concerned, oprah’s show is an egregious misuse of time, though she does put some money where her mouth is so I will give her that.
mike hudson Says:September 5th, 2008 at 5:46 pm
she will pay the price in viewership, which will be a good thing for america.
Jeff Says:September 6th, 2008 at 12:39 am
Oprah will make many female viewers aware of what a traitor Sarah Palin is, not just to women’s rights, but to common decency and intelligence.
Forget Obama, how can anyone say she’s ready to be President.
Absolutely defies logic.
Even Karl Rove unintentionally points it out by diminishing the resume of Virginia’s Gov who has more experience than Sarah, but was belittled by Rove because of his modest experience.
The new logo for the Repubs should be a hippo.
As in hippo-crit.
Jon Splett Says:September 6th, 2008 at 2:14 am
The fact Oprah has any influence at all over the political process in the United States is evidence that the entire system is broken beyond repair and neither McCain or Obama will do anything to fix it.
This is the woman responsible for giving the world Dr.Phil and yet people still listen when she opens her mouth…
Jon Splett Says:September 6th, 2008 at 2:30 am
Also, hippo-crit is the worst pun I’ve ever heard.
mike hudson Says:September 6th, 2008 at 6:09 am
yet hippo-crit would be somewhat ironic, at least, were it applied to oprah. she’s had murderers, rapists and neo-nazis on her show. she had james frey for fucksakes. she had barry-o. her target audience — as reflected in the attendance of the obama events she hosted — is small-town white women who shop at wal-mart, they exact demo sarah palin will most appeal to. other than blue-collar men.
obama, bush, kerry, gore, bush the dad, clinton — the only “difference” between any of them is whether they went to harvard or yale.
