Powers misplayed this, he should have forced the issue on immigration and made it part of the debate rather than just introducing this video apropos of nothing. It would have had more stickiness closer to the primary and as part of a TV campaign or in a public debate forum. Jeez, putting it out in mid-July almost assures it won’t be an issue comes September.

Chris - I’m a child of immigrants and I’m paying attention. Jack Davis is a xenophobic Republican in sheep’s clothing. I will definitely remember this, whether it gets brought up in the debate or not.
