In Firefox these clips stop playing if you don’t keep moving the mouse. Bizzare.

It doesn’t happen in my home or office or laptop version of Firefox, but your comment has been noted by a couple of different people. I wonder if its a flash versioning problem.

I upgraded Flash to r115 and now all videos just plain stop after 2 seconds. I don’t have the same problem in IE, but I have yet to find a solution for Firefox.

I have the Firefox error in the official version but I just installed the new Firefox 3 beta and it seems to be working fine.

Running the Flash uninstaller and then letting Firefox detect it was missing and reinstall it installed r115 again. Now it will play stuff on YouTube again, but not these. Still stopping after two seconds.

Since it’s just a talking head, you could use these videos at a smaller size. Though I have never found video to work as smoothly as it should, on BRO, here, or other sites. But given all the imperfections, Youtube downloads seem to work quicker and I do think a smaller size would be faster.
My watching of this (and I have a fast connection here) was real jittery with many halts.
I’m no techie, god knows–this is just from my experience.
