Expanded Hours

The Seneca’s Buffalo Creek Casino has expanded its hours to 8am - 4am.

Pensioners and the working poor rejoice. Nothing like playing nickel and penny slots at 8am.

This facility will do worse damage to Buffalo than a “real” casino with actual blackjack tables and roulette wheels could ever do.

Nobody except area residents will pump money into this charade.

We already have The Buffalo Raceway if slot machines is your craving. At least that money goes towards supporting the racetrack, which is more than can be said about the “CASINO” now staining Buffalo - and it takes a lot of filth to stain the carcass of the City of Buffalo that is currently being scavenged.

Yeah it’s awful that casino gambling is allowed at 8am.

And beer sales too - especially for pensioners and the 3rd shift working poor. Don’t they realize how bad beer is for them? It can be addictive and it can ruin their lives in many ways. Stupid pensioners. Stupid working poor. We know a lot better than them what is good for them and what might addict them. They are rejoicing that they can buy beer at 8am, but for some of them it’s ruining their lives. The jerks. Oh yeah and the jerky beer sellers and those jerky Labatt marketing executives who moved their office here from jerky Connecticut. They are harming our pensioners and working poor even at 8 in the morning! Have they no shame? And cigarette sales at 8am - OMG don’t even get me started on that! Damn now I need a beer…

There is nothing worse than a pompous elitist telling regular folks how to spend their pennies and nickels.

Not big on casinos, that’s why I won’t be there at 8 am.
But I will not tell others where to spend their money. It is their conscious decision to do so, and they are the ones to bear the responsibility if they can’t come up with rent money.
I see no difference between those at the casino, and the people at the local convenience store spending 60 bucks a pop on lottery tickets.

    Stupid working poor.

“Working poor.” Another noble-sounding invention of the commie left, designed to perpetuate discontent and white liberal guilt.

“Welcome to Buffalo, set your watches back twenty years.”

Ok, so what would you call someone who works a total of 60 hours a week at two jobs and still can’t make ends meet? They work, yet they’re poor. Sounds like a good description to me.

    There are many variables.

What if theses people actually partied their youth away and didn’t better themselves with education or otherwise wasted their lives? Then they’d be called the “stupid poor.” What if they were unfortunate? “Unfortunate poor.” Unlucky in life? It can happen, so they are the “unlucky poor.” Unambitious? “Unambitious poor.” Useless? “Useless poor”

Regarding this casino, who tells the pensioners and “working poor” to patronize them? We all face temptations in life. Character helps us to make the right choices. Not a patronizing pat on the back from Hee-lary or a lefty government.

In communism, discontent is the order of the day, so catch phrases need to be created to stoke the fires of resentment in those on the bottom while perpetuating the liberal guilt in Whitey. “Working poor” is similar to Diversity (sort of the registered trademark of ultra-socialist progressive types known as DIversity Inc.).

Poor happens. Unfortunately, the poor will always be with us. It even says so in the Bible. (WHAT DID HE SAY??? HE SAID THE ‘B’ WORD! THAT FACIST!!!) If even Christ acknowledged that the poor are an unfortunate fact of life, what makes you filthy, Godless, arrogant commies think you can eliminate it?

Ah, but there’s the rub. You could care less about the poor. You use them to further your political aims and further your lust for absolute power. You know it. So take your sanctimonious “the poor poor working poor” horsesh*t and shove it up your asses.

BS Detector (aka Keyboard Warrior & Buffalo Hater) Says:

RIch people work, but I don’t hear “working rich.” Middle class people work, but no “working middle class.” Why do the “working poor” get a special label? That’s discrimination!

The libertarian views above miss the point that there has been over $3million taken out of the local economy by the
Seneca Gambling Corp. since it opened Buffalo Creek in July. Over 50,000 gamblers have lost, let’s say $75 each=$3,750,000 . The 6% of slots =Approx $225,000 to the city. Local comerce may have made $100,000…these are the approximate gains. 50 jobs(==25 full time?) at ?$12/hr=approx $96,000 to the employed. The NET[rough math ,,,but have you thought about it] is $3.369.000 to the SGC. Our city(other businesses who won’t see the $ and may start to sink like in Niagara Falls, NY) and it’s citizens have lost dearly and will continue is have its economic base harmed and most seriously any poor neighbors(parents, seniors, addicts, dreamers, etc …all who need the $ much more for other necessities. Libertartians with money to spare…wake up be a good neighbor! Fight this by electing good people who won’t be corruped by it and may help erase it from this city!
